These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website thepaddedseat.co.uk (the “Site”) and the services we provide through it (the “Services”).
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Site.
The Site is operated by The Padded Seat Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.

References in these Terms to “we”, “us” and “our” mean The Padded Seat Ltd. References to “you” and “your” mean the person accessing or using the Site.
The Padded Seat is a sports and events hospitality media business. Through the Site we:
We do not sell, supply or issue hospitality tickets or packages. Section 5 explains how ticket links work.
You accept these Terms by accessing or using the Site, by entering a prize draw, or by placing an order through our shop.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our Services, to our business, or to legal or regulatory requirements. The version published on the Site at the time you use it is the version that applies. Where changes are material, we will indicate this by updating the “Last updated” date above.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Site.
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order through our shop or to enter any prize draw we operate.
We do not currently offer user accounts. All purchases and prize draw entries are made as a guest.
Reviews and other editorial content on the Site reflect our independent opinion at the time of the visit. They are provided for information and entertainment only. They are not a guarantee or warranty as to the quality, pricing, availability or suitability of any experience, and the experience you receive may differ from the one we describe.
Where the Site displays hospitality packages, prices or availability, that information is provided by, or derived from, third-party sellers, clubs and venues. We are not the seller, agent or supplier of those packages.
If you buy a hospitality package after following a link from the Site, your contract is with that seller, club or venue and not with us. Their terms, cancellation rights, refund policy and privacy notice apply to that purchase. We are not responsible for the accuracy of their pricing or availability, for the fulfilment of your booking, or for the experience you receive.
We recommend you read the seller’s own terms before purchasing.
Prices shown on the Site are indicative and may be out of date. The price and availability at the point of purchase, as shown by the seller, are the ones that apply.
Some links to third-party sellers on the Site are affiliate links, which means we may receive a commission if you make a purchase after following them. This does not affect the price you pay.
Commission arrangements do not influence our editorial opinion. Where a page or placement is paid for or sponsored, we identify it as such.
We operate free prize draws under the “WIN” brand. Each draw is subject to its own specific terms and conditions, which are published on the relevant competition page.
Where the competition-specific terms conflict with these Terms, the competition-specific terms apply.
In summary, and without limiting those terms:
We run annual awards recognising hospitality experiences, including a public vote.
Voting is free. We may exclude votes we reasonably believe to be automated, duplicated or otherwise submitted in breach of the spirit of the vote. Our decision on the outcome of any award is final. Award outcomes are editorial in nature and do not constitute a guarantee about any venue or experience.
You may ask us to review a hospitality experience, either as a fan or on behalf of a club, venue or business.
Submitting a request does not oblige us to carry out a review, and we do not guarantee that any review will be published or that its content will be favourable. Where a review is arranged commercially, or where hospitality has been provided to us free of charge, we disclose that on the review itself.
We sell branded merchandise through the Site. Product images and descriptions are intended to be accurate, but colours, packaging and finish may vary slightly.
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send you confirmation that your order has been accepted. If we cannot fulfil an order, we will tell you and refund any payment taken in full.
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT at the applicable rate. Delivery costs are shown separately before you complete your order. Payment is taken at the time of ordering.
If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered, we will contact you to ask whether you wish to continue at the correct price or cancel the order.
We aim to dispatch items within 7 working days of accepting your order. We ship internationally. Delivery timescales are estimates and are not guaranteed.
For international orders, you may be liable for import duties, taxes or customs charges levied by the destination country. These are your responsibility and are not included in the price you pay us.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason.
To cancel, contact us at hello@thepaddedseat.co.uk. You must return the goods to us within 14 days of telling us you wish to cancel. You are responsible for the cost of return unless the goods are faulty or not as described. We will refund the price you paid, plus standard delivery costs, within 14 days of receiving the goods back.
This right does not apply to goods made to your specification or personalised.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which include the right to goods that are of satisfactory quality, as described, and fit for purpose. If something is wrong with your order, contact us and we will put it right.
All content on the Site — including reviews, articles, video, photography, graphics, logos, the “The Padded Seat” and “WIN” names, and the design of the Site — is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property rights.
You may view and share our content for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, modify, distribute or commercially exploit any of it without our prior written permission.
Club badges, venue names and third-party logos shown on the Site remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes.
If you send us content — including photographs, video, review requests, competition entries or feedback — you confirm that you own it or have permission to share it, and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and publish that content across the Site and our social media channels in connection with our Services. You retain ownership of it.
If you are a prize draw winner, we may publish your first name, your town or county, and (where you provide one and agree) a photograph. This is set out further in the competition terms and in our Privacy Policy.
When using the Site, you must not:
We may restrict or withdraw access to the Site, and may void prize draw entries or votes, where we reasonably believe this section has been breached.
We aim to keep the Site available and working properly, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or free from viruses. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of the Site for business or operational reasons, and will give notice where we reasonably can.

If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable, or for any loss arising from your use of the Site for commercial purposes.
If you are a business, we exclude all implied conditions, warranties and other terms to the fullest extent permitted by law, and we are not liable for loss of profits, loss of business, loss of goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you in connection with the Site is limited to £100 or, where you have placed an order with us, the amount you paid for that order.
Third-party purchases. We are not liable for any loss arising from a purchase you make from a third-party seller, club or venue, whether or not you reached them through the Site. See section 5.2.
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy, which explain what personal data we collect, how we use it, and how we use cookies and similar technologies.
If you are unhappy with anything we have done, please contact us at hello@thepaddedseat.co.uk and we will try to resolve it. We aim to acknowledge complaints within five working days.
We are not currently a member of an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) scheme and we do not agree to use an ADR provider. This does not affect your legal rights, including your right to bring a claim in court.
Third-party links. The Site contains links to other websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, products or practices.
No partnership. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, agency or employment relationship between us.
Severability. If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force.
Third-party rights. These Terms do not give rights to anyone other than you and us.
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country in which you live.
